Who is responsible?

What data?
Only the data you send us: via the contact form (name, email, optional phone, message), via the client area (name, email, optional phone and uploaded documents), by email, by phone or at a meeting, as well as the documents needed for your file.
What for?
To reply to you and handle your request, for example preparing your tax return. Your data is neither sold nor used for advertising. This website uses no advertising cookies and no audience measurement tools.
The contact form
Messages sent through the form are forwarded to our mailbox by the FormSubmit service (formsubmit.co), which may process this data outside Switzerland. If you prefer, write to us directly at contact@avenirs.ch.
The client area
The client area lets you send us your documents (for example for your tax return) securely. There we process your name, your email address, your phone number if you provide it, and the documents you upload.
This data is hosted by our processor Supabase (Supabase Inc., United States), in a data centre located in Zurich, Switzerland. Exchanges between your device and this server are encrypted. Your documents are private: only you and Avenirs.ch can access them. Supabase is not allowed to use them for its own purposes.
To keep you logged in, your browser stores a session key (local storage). It is essential for the client area to work and serves no other purpose.
You can ask us at any time to delete your account and documents by writing to contact@avenirs.ch.
The website's tools
The “Fold your worry” game, the mini quiz and the checklist run only in your browser: nothing is sent to us or stored by us.
How long?
As long as needed to handle your file and meet our legal retention obligations. Documents uploaded to the client area are deleted when they are no longer needed, or sooner on request.
Your rights
Under the Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), you can ask to access, correct or delete your data by writing to us at contact@avenirs.ch. The French version of this page is the authoritative one.
